I am a big fan of Ariza, his length, quickness, anticipation of passing lanes, athleticism, smartness, and now can drain 3s. He could be what Scottie Pippen was to the Bulls, and he's only 24. I don't know what the hell his agent David Lee is smoking? He wanted to bluff at the Lakers and look where his client is ending up? A Houston team without TMac and possibly Yao and bounded for lottery. Ariza could've stayed a Laker since Houston is offering the same money as the Laker offered. David Lee really screwed Ariza up. Besides with a horrible Houston team, Ariza doesn't have the luxury of having Kobe and Gasol commending all the defense thus rendering him openings for offense anymore.

On the other hand, Artest gets to have a shot at the title now, yes he can be a good defender and a enforcer for LA, but I still think we miss out on a promising player in Ariza for a 30ish Artest. If Artest can control himself, don't take bone headed shots as he did for Houston against the Lakers, hope we get another shot at the title.
